Recently relocating to the beautiful Western NC mountains, Steve and Tammy Allen hope to share their love of an eclectic mix of music including folk, country, blues, a bit of rock and some bluegrass with their new neighbors in Lake Lure.

Singing together on their church worship team since around 2012, Steve and Tammy had the chance to record the duet, "Higher" for the album "Laverna" by Province of Thieves, with whom Steve played banjo and guitar.  "Higher" is available from most music sources.

It wasn't until 2020, after both Steve and Tammy had been through terrible personal losses that they started playing music together just for fun.  Turns out that they had more than just music in common and by April 2022, they were married and planning to fill up Sideways Sunday's calendar with dates in Charlotte and the surrounding areas.
